I finally made it to spring break. The kids and I were all exhausted. I gave them a big homework assignment: eat healthy, exercise daily (outside if possible), do something enjoyable (but safe and legal!), and get enough sleep.
I can't complain about my students this year, other than that a lot of them don't do their homework and a few tend to fall asleep (too much electronics at night, I'm sure). Overall, they're nice, respectful, and interested, but the last few days, they were fidgety and didn't want to do anything. I think all the teachers felt the same way, lol!
As much as I love my job, I'll be happy if I don't see anyone under 18 the next few days.
I finally got over my plateau; for over a month, I was stuck at the same weight. Last week, I lost 2 pounds, to make it a total of 17. One more, and I'll be halfway to my goal, almost on time with the goal line! Today, I'm just making it a lazy day, though, albeit with healthy food.
