My week 2 challenge is to write a blog entry about what we hope to accomplish out of this great three month challenge. What I hope to accomplish is setting up a pattern that I can keep to. My problem is that I tend to start strong on diet and workout plans, and then after a month or so, I falter, and I quit. So far I've been working out and eating right for five weeks now, and I feel better than ever physically. I feel lazy if I don't exercise, and I find it exciting to work out now. Everyone says losing weight won't give me self confidence, but I'm finding as I lose more and more pounds and become healthier, I am becoming more confident. And that is what is important.

    I agree with DOLPHINSINGER72... whoever said losing weight won't give you self confidence, either doesn't have much weight to lose, is kidding themselves, or is flat out trying to sabotage your success. Don't worry about what they say, just keep doing what's making you happy! emoticon

    Oh whoever told you losing weight doesn't boost your self confidence is full of whoo haaaa. :) I sure as heck know that the 75 pounds I have lost has given me all KINDS of confidence. Or it could be that it has helped with my depression which has helped with my confidence. All I know is I feel like a million bucks, and I hope you do too! emoticon
