So here I was, hiding the fact that I cheat. Feeling guilty about not being COMPLETELY honest in my posts.
Along comes the results of a dieting survey about the habits of those who successfully drop weight and keep it off. Well, one of the things on the list was my cheating! I post my weekly weigh-ins only where there is a loss to report. I have done this since joining SP and always felt a bit guilty about it. Like I wasn't owning up to my struggles.
Well, apparently there are a lot of people just like me. And it's a habit of those who effectively lose weight! By focusing on positive movement toward my goal, rather than any of the setbacks or normal fluctuations in life I am actually improving my chances of meeting my goal and keeping my new healthier status.
