Haha I couldn't think of a good blog title.
Once again sorry for being AWOL for the past week! Second job, 16 hour work days, etc etc. The good news is that yesterday was my last day at my second job! Even though I'm back to being financially tight, I'm so glad to have time to sleep, cook, read, and enjoy myself without being so stressed! Haha I celebrated by sleeping for ten hours and getting up and cooking chicken thighs and sirloin steak for the week's lunches. Yay! Even though I still have to go to my full-time job today, it feels like a genuine Saturday.
Earlier last week I hit an all time low of 188.6 pounds! I haven't been able to weigh myself since, but I'm hesitant because three or four days this week I've gone "off menu" and eaten things without bothering to track, like sushi and Chipotle. Most of my choices, though, were super healthy like grilled meat and vegetables, and I didn't go back for seconds or anything like that, so I'm hoping I'm doing better than I actually am. Today, though, with cooking a week's worth of lunches in advance, I'm sure I'll be back on track in no time. I'm actually enjoying a batch of homemade mac n' cheese with steamed cauliflower, broccoli, and carrots mixed it (apparently you can make lower calorie cheese sauce with a Greek yogurt base - super delicious!).
Well, I still have to do laundry and finish cooking and pay bills before I have to go to work this afternoon, so I need to get a move on. Now that I've got A LOT of more free time I will definitely be on Spark blogging and commenting in the coming days! Yay!
