My Last Walk Until March 27??

Saturday, March 23, 2013

After 2 days in a row walking over 1 mile, my body is feeling the pain. I decided today that I needed to walk at least a half mile, because according to the local weather, we are under a winter weather advisory for the next 2 days. It's 46 degrees F right now, but it is suppose to start snowing later tonight with an estimate of 2-4 inches, with flurries until Tuesday. It's not suppose to warm up again until this next Wednesday (March 27). So, I'm trying to get my walking done now because I'm going to be cooped up in the house until the weather warms up.

This is why I have a treadmill. Many folks don't like them, but the fact is, one can do just as much on them ALL year round as they can outdoors. I live in San Diego, so I have even more time that I can run outside, but I choose not to. The treadmill is easier on the body while still working it out, and I can watch TV as I do it. WIN/WIN

Good health and fitness requires consistency and to get that, we sometimes have to do things and do them at times we don't like. But that's the only way to continue on the path for good health and fitness. You can do it, just stay focused and keep the faith.

Ugh! I'm so tired of snow and cold.

Great job getting a walk in while you can!

We had some flurries in the ATL yesterday morning but nothing lasting. Good idea on getting the walking in today. I have found that walking around the living room is so boring!

    Make today a great day!
