Good byes

Saturday, March 23, 2013

Just saw my sister and her family off yesterday! They are headed back to Oklahoma. It was good to see them,it had been almost 4 yrs since I saw them last. We had a whole week, but it only seemed like 4 or 5 hours! I love my family, and I get sad when we all have to go back to our homes. I come from a large family. A family of 9,7 siblings. And my siblings are my best friends.
So last week for me was all about family! I did not really track what I was eating or not focusing on my goals. I am now feeling a little gilt from it,but trying not to let it get to me. I cant go back so I now need to focus on now! I ate healthy meals all week, but splurged to much on desserts and starbucks! So now I am back!!

We tend to get off track on family gatherings. Just pick up back where you left off. You'll be fine.

Sounds like you had a good visit. In our society today, it seems many are distanced from family. I am in that situation and I miss my family, especially my sisters. We had a sisters get away last year and it was so much fun!
You are right about not letting the guilt get to you. You are focused on today and not what happened last week. Keep it up!
