Robins and Rochester

Saturday, March 23, 2013

I saw robins in the yard this morning. The crocus are up about six inches. Welcome spring! We are headed north to see our grandson Luke this afternoon. Wonder if it will be as nice as it is here. I would like to take Luke for a long walk.

I did see a robin in the courtyard a couple of days ago....just one. There are daffodils back there & their leaves are up. Hope they don't end up freezing
Have a great time with your grandson.

Hey, that's not fair - you live way further north than I do and we haven't started seeing OUR robins OR crucuses yet. I am jealous. Okay, not really, but I am delighted you are starting to see the signs that spring might actually arrive this year. It feels to me like we have been fighting this winter FOREVER. Maybe OUR spring will come too. Have a wonderful and blessed day and enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Lovely examples that spring has arrived! We have quail and bunnies running around everywhere...can't wait to see our first quail babies...the size of cottonballs following "dad" in a straight line with "mom" at the rear. Weeds are popping up but I love to weed for some reason...not only good exercise but a bit like meditation for me. Enjoy your time with Luke.
