Three weeks of good habits.

Three weeks from today is Major Family Event.
I have chosen a dress (one I already own) and it's all right, but a little snug around the ribs. (I love a high waist and A-line skirt!)
I don't have any rib fat or back fat to speak of--I'm a hips-and-thighs woman--so I'm not sure how I'll slim that area, but for the next three weeks, I'm going to pretend I'm a figure competitor and eat accordingly. It's not all that different from my usual way of eating, but it'll prevent things like yesterday, where the Domestic Partner got hungry on our shopping trip, so we had Chinese restaurant food instead of the salad that I had planned as our dinner. He is trying to lose some weight too so we had agreed on salad. I don't know what weight he thinks he can lose, since he's already 10-12 pounds thinner than when we met, and he was thin back then. I struggle to drop 3 pounds & it drives me crazy that he just "decides" to lose weight, and bam, it's gone.
