Balencing act w carbs and fat

Today I am double in my fats for total daily intake and half what I should be in my carbs. It's OK. I realize this is a process. I am ok with the calories... but have a ways to go with the balencing of the carbs and fats. Too much beef and cheese today... eggs too. Fat in beef, cheese, yolks.

    I focus on calories, Fiber & protein the rest usually falls into place. It's a process to see what fits for you.

    Sometimes I can't make the carbs, even with my fruit and veggies. I just decided it's OK as long as the fats are healthy like avocado, nuts, etc. Then, the next day I cut back on the red meat and add some healthy grains. It all averages out that way : )

    When I see I'm getting close to my fat limit, and need carbs, I turn to fruit. Lots of carbs, and little or no fat. That happened today, so I am eating some blood oranges right now!
