Lame start to the weekend

Friday, March 22, 2013

Well got off work early to go get a load of cake for the cows, so I guess besides my walk at lunch today I also shoveled for an hour (2600 lbs worth). Now the ol hands are killing me. I laugh when I think back on how the doc said carpal tunnel surgery would fix everything. He said oh you will be able to go back to your normal routine in no time. Two weeks later in for check up asking about driving a tractor or using a chain saw all of which he declined me from doing. Guess he didn't understand my normal routine. Oh well maybe some day they will be half way decent again as for now think its going to just be me a couple pain pills and some ice till they start working alil better.

Was going to post some cute pics of my new babies but phone won't let me have to next week got some good ones.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.

It sounds like you got in a great workout with all of that shoveling! Sorry to hear about the carpal tunnel. I hope your wrists and hand feel better soon. I wish I knew of something that could help. I look forward to seeing the pictures though! emoticon

Hope your hands feel better! My mother had surgery on her hands for carpal tunnel and now her hands shake so bad she can't write, but she has no pain. I have tendonitis in both hands and I had to change professions because of it. (I used to be a cosmetologist). An hour shoveling sounds like a great workout, though. It's all about the silver linings. Try soaking your hands in hot water with mentholated bath salts. Feels great!

Hope your hands feel better. Have you ever soaked them in warm chamomile and comfrey? My gram used it for different pains and it really helps. Good luck and looking forward to the pictures.
