Remember Time for Timer?

Friday, March 22, 2013

If you grew up in the 70s, you may remember good ol Timer. I enjoyed those Saturday morning PSAs between cartoons when I was a kid. Those little ditties still bounce through my head every now and again.

Timer taught us to eat breakfast, put together a quick snack, that we are what we eat and how to make sunshine on a stick... among other gems.

I just caught the extended weather forecast and it was quite the downer to say the least. Time to stop griping about the weather. I've been a broken record about it for days so enough of that!

I decided to treat myself to a little childhood distraction, jumped on you tube and searched Time For Timer.

I just took a quick trip down memory lane. If you remember Timer or even if you have no idea what I'm talking about, take a break from the day and walk with me down memory lane...

I remember these. We used to make those ice cube tray treats. Wow, these PSA's have been burned into my brain. Thanks for the blast from the past. (Now I really hanker for a hunk o' cheese. )
