Working on the bad habits

When I think about what is going on in my life and why I really haven't moved any further towards my goals, I can say honestly it is because I am not diligently working on my habits. I continue to do the same things I did before. I may count all my calories, and I get some exercise in, I am still not consistent. I am usually over on my calories. I am not drinking enough water.
So my goal is to just work on 1-2 habits at a time. I need to drink more water. And I need to consistently exercise. I feel my diet will start to come into check, because I really like feeling better when I eat well. I don't like how I feel when I overeat, especially a lot of carbs. I like it better when I have lean protein like chicken, steak or fish, and some veggies and salad. I like my breakfasts of oatmeal, with a few craisins, some chopped nuts, and some unsweetened coconut. I like my greek yogurt and berries. I like my big garden salads. I like grilled meats. I like simple. It sometimes gets boring, but I feel better eating like this. Tonight our meal out made me feel really sick.
I want to break out of the habit of eating out when we are rushed or don't want to cook.
Time to work on the routine of habit - the habits that make me feel good.
