It's almost time to get off work. My husband wants to know what's for dinner. I've been trying to look at recipes, but I'm not really in the mood to try something new and healthy tonight. I've been doing well the past couple of days (better than months prior anyways), so I really don't want to "fall off the wagon" so early. So, I started looking on the message boards for help. Came across some interesting posts- most people start eating healthier by making small choices, not doing a complete 180. So, I've been drinking nothing but water this week and now easily getting down 8 glasses a day, I've turned down chocolate cake and fast food (5 days this week!). It's Friday night, I am tired, I have a long weekend ahead, studying to do, a careplan to work on, and getting prepared for next week. I'm thinking instead of feeling down and beating myself up, I'll make a deal with myself- We can eat out tonight one 2 conditions- 1. I don't eat as much as I normally would and 2. I still do my exercise before eating (even though I'm tired, I know I need it). Sound fair? We'll see.
