A&I Week 3 ~ Positive Affirmations

Our assignment for this week was to blog about Positive Affirmations. Do you think positive affirmations help you achieve your goals? If so, what are some of the positive affirmations you use?

Yes, I like to use positive affirmations but Iím not sure that they help me achieve my goals. What I mean is that I think positive affirmations are good and that they can be helpful. For me though, they donít necessarily help me to achieve my goals they help me to not give up when Iím frustrated. For several years now Iíve been frustrated with my weight going up despite doing everything right. The positive affirmations helped me to not give up and helped me to realize that even though I may not be losing lbs I have been losing inches. Also, they have helped me to realize that I am still healthier than if I was gaining weight while being a couch potato! They have helped me to focus on my overall health more than my weight.

There are days when a positive affirmation will get me through a tough moment...but choosing to move gets me through negative thinking...."only exercise on the days that you want to improve your mood"! emoticon

    emoticon blog. I think it is really hard to focus on achieving good health rather than what the scale says. I am glad you have found the positive affirmations help you not to give up! I love all of the affirmation images you have chosen. Some are new to me and I have saved them for myself. Thank you!
