A&I Week 3 ~ Positive Affirmations

Our assignment for this week was to blog about Positive Affirmations. Do you think positive affirmations help you achieve your goals? If so, what are some of the positive affirmations you use?

Yes, I like to use positive affirmations but I’m not sure that they help me achieve my goals. What I mean is that I think positive affirmations are good and that they can be helpful. For me though, they don’t necessarily help me to achieve my goals they help me to not give up when I’m frustrated. For several years now I’ve been frustrated with my weight going up despite doing everything right. The positive affirmations helped me to not give up and helped me to realize that even though I may not be losing lbs I have been losing inches. Also, they have helped me to realize that I am still healthier than if I was gaining weight while being a couch potato! They have helped me to focus on my overall health more than my weight.
