Wow, I had a diabetic nightmare Thursday. I all of a sudden got really woozy and started to shake. That only means one thing and that I need to eat before I pass out. I got 2 young children and a 93 year old grandma here at home so that would not be good, as I do not want the ambulance called. So, I got to eat a carb feast to bring my blood sugar back up. I think I may have over done the carbs, but the feeling of passing out is just so weird that I eat until the feeling goes away. I had 2 bananas, so I could make oat bran with honey on top. That has not happened in a long time and hope it doesn’t happen again soon. It takes a long time to recover from that. I forgot to add oat bran to my carb choices. So, I am reminding myself to only eat oat bran, sweet potatoes, bananas, and quinoa.
