Mini-Vacation

Today we’re going on a mini-vacation to visit my husband’s sister and her husband. We’ll be gone until Monday with no computer so no Spark time. I’m going to miss everyone but, believe me, you’ll all be in my thoughts. They live on about 30 very hilly acres. When you go out the front door you can turn right and go up a very steep hill or turn left and go down the same hill. They had to level the lot before they could build their house. With my foot and knee problems I’m not sure how much exercise I’ll be able to get and they’ve already emailed that they’re making Chile Verde for dinner tonight and taking us out to dinner Saturday so things aren’t looking too good on the diet front. I printed out some Nutrition and Fitness tracker sheets from the WebMD site to help me keep focused, that should help some. The really positive thing though is the email I received from my sister-in-law yesterday asking me if I would like her to wait to do her daily walk until after we arrive today so I can go with her. I’m not sure how my knees will do but I answered a resounding, “Yes!”

    If the food is high cal, it means smaller servings. If you want it bad enough, you can do it! Have a great time. Can hardly wait to hear all about it when you get home. emoticon
