Day 10 - WEIGH IN!!

Friday, March 22, 2013

Good morning everyone!

I know, I said I would blog every day, but I swear I have some good reasons I haven't!!

We got a local business to join up and help us with fundraising for our Epilepsy 5K!! HOORAY! Plus, our realtor has been calling frequently and we have been doing "drive-pasts" on houses, AND we had a parent-teacher conference and half days to boot! WHEW!

So, here I sit in the first bit of peace I've had since Tuesday. I'm loving it! My house is quiet, my phone isn't ringing, and I'm still groggy but slowly snapping out of it!

Well, as promised above, I did my weigh in today and I want to share the info with you!!! For some reason, the ticker on my page is NOT reflecting the right amount of pounds lost, but the weight tracker information I input is correct... HMPH!

Weigh in #1 - 3/22/13

Starting weight - 133.6

Weight today - 125.6

TOTAL LOST = 8 LBS!!!

I am SO happy! I wish I had a tape measurer to keep track of the inches I've lost too. My husband and I could already tell my clothes are fitting nicer. I wore a really pretty shirt I didn't think looked good on me to the parent teacher conference last night!

I know there is still a long way to go, and I'm far from being completely happy with my body, but I'm very glad I have accomplished what I have so far.

On top of just the weight loss, every day that I have gone to the gym I have made sure to alternate walk/jog 5K to train for our walk in May. I have been very dedicated with the gym and also with making better food choices.

I feel like this will work for me and there is no more uplifting feeling than that!

I hope everyone has an amazing day!
