Week #10 stats

I am happy to report that I managed to track everything this week. Even when It didn't look good. I also made sure I would spend as much as the week would allow.

I had a birthday dinner at my father's Sunday, my in-laws were coming for dinner on Monday for my mother in-law's birthday and we went to the restaurant Tuesday night for my and my daughter's birthday. So 3 dinners with a bit too much food.

Despite all that, according to my Bodymedia personal report here is my daily average for the week:

Calories consumed : 1920
Calorie balance : -890
Physical activity : 0h50 min
Number of steps : 8527
Sleep duration : 6h17min

So I'm very happy about my week.

weight when joining Spark weight 4/16/2011 : 231.3 lbs
lowest weight since starting all this : 225.8 lbs

week 1 weight : 259.6 lbs

Difference since last week : -2 lbs

I am very happy with those results. I got 16 lbs in 10 weeks. An average of 1.6 pounds a week. I don't even feel like I'm making an effort. Everything seems so much easier than before. I am still convinced it is all due to the fact that I am not asking myself to be perfect and that allows me the freedom to live my life to the fullest and compensate when I go overboard. Kind of weird, but ever since I have taken that pressure off my shoulders, I haven't had urges to go overboard like I used to! And having my monitor really simplifies my life. I don't have to guess, or remember what I did, it records for me and beeps when I have reached a daily goal.

I have the best Brother and Sister anyone could ask for!!! You and Ken rock and you are just crushing the scale each week and even when you don't you just get back on it!! That is what it is all about!!! I am so proud of you!!! You are right once you get into the grove take the pressure off it doesn't seem nearly as hard as it did before!!!

    Congratulations on the loss, you are doing so wonderfully! It's especially impressive when you throw in the 3 birthday dinners, which is enough to derail most everybody! Keep up the good work sis, you're inspiring people!

    I am happy everything is working out well for you. We are all different.

I am the opposite! If I cut myself some slack, I just totally slack off. I have to be rigid. Once I start to stray from my healthy lifestyle, I find it really hard to get back on track.
