Another quieter day without grand baby today, who is out of town with her parents on daddy's business trip. We got word that she did fantastic on her very first plane ride and even slept through the landing.
I've got some food shopping to do for Sunday's family soiree, planned in my brother's honor, over at my sis's home. It should be a fun, relaxing time. I should also make time to try and get my eyeglasses fixed.
I am hoping to get my last client's books over to the accountant today, but at the very latest, tomorrow. I can see the finish line in the distance. That will give me a week to get my own business books together for the meeting with our accountant. It's amazing how on schedule I am when I am not dealing with illness.
And, it's amazing how good meals are with freshly prepared whole foods. I haven't cooked since DH got sick....why I wasn't worth the effort, is a mystery. DH insisted I not bother yesterday, because he still can't taste much, but I decided we both needed to eat something nutritious. He went back for seconds of the baked chicken, and the fresh asaragus, too.
Seems like a good time to get back to my former healthier habits, in spite of Sunday's soiree.....there will be plenty of healthy foods to choose that day. It is Spring, and typically the time I get back to healthy basics, and get some health and fitness mojo in play. So, then, time to ignore the snow and get out for an early morning walk.
I've been so inundated with client work for so long, I actually feel like I am off on holiday, LOL
It is wonderful to feel almost fully recovered
Spring is here! Even if the warmer temperatures are not yet.
ENJOYED my 2.5 mile walk this morning in the snow shower....meats are thawing on the counter for tonight's healthy dinner...off to a productive start to my day and really liking that!
