Positive Thinking Can Be Hard Sometimes...

I am writing a Positive Blog even though I am going to complain...

1. My job has been stressful lately. The positive side is that Spring Break is in one more week and I need it so de-stress!

2. I am training to run in a Half-Marathon for the first time. Today I had to run my farthest ever on my practice schedule...and I wanted to quit with 15 minutes left. However, I gave myself a pep talk and kept running. The positive side is that now I am happy I did!

3. I am not losing weight as quickly as I want to on the scale. The positive side is that I am feeling healthier and my clothes are fitting better.

There is a positive side to every negative!

    Congrats on the half marathon training! and not quitting when you wanted to. You are capable of more than you are capable of......I read a quote: You"ve only got 3 choices in life: give up, give in or give it all you've got! I think it's going to be my new mantra! I'm ready for spring break, too. I work at a high school and they are all getting squirrelly for break...makes me tired and crazy. C'mon spring break. Good luck with all your training! I wasn't losing weight fast enough running and I added strength training....kind of a cardio strength training...and it made a huge difference. Just a thought.
