I certainly love being off the plateau I was on for 4 months and I love the results that 2 weeks of being on the Plan has brought!
I had a business dinner again last night which was a group setting with an industry speaker so the dinner format was buffet style. I was so happy to see fresh green salad with seasoned olive oil as one of the choices for the dressing. The standard chicken was offered and steamed broccoli - so I was very excited to be able to "stay on plan". What really struck me when I got home - this industry meeting normally has a very elaborate dessert buffet. This has always been my challenge - sugar calling my name! It had no pull on me last night. To double up on this concept, one of the young women who works for me is getting married. So yesterday was her bridal shower at work with the requisite cake....once again - completely no pull on me. Something internally has changed and I am liking it.
