5:2 Intermittent Fasting Week 2 Fast Day 2

Today was not easy. Not at all. From morning through until now, Ive had to really concentrate and try to be strong. I have done it though and that really makes me proud of myself.
Work was slow and this really didnt help. It started off manically then went to nothing. I was hoping for another busy day but no, it was not to be.

Todays menu

For breakfast a boiled egg and cup of green tea.
For lunch a tin of Heinz Chicken Noodle soup.
For dinner turkey stir fry.
For snacks celery and cucumber.

I did treat myself this evening. I hasten to add that it was within my calorie limit.

Tomorrow morning I weigh in for the second time since I started this. Ill update you with my progress, Im hoping that I at least match last weeks 1lb.

I get to eat properly tomorrow which is what keeps me going through the day. Me and my fiance are going to the theatre and out for dinner so I think a little treat is in order.

UPDATE!

I weighed in this morning and I have lost 4lbs this week!! Im so happy. Im back down to 210 lbs (15 st). My goal is only 25 lbs away!

    I'm thinking of trying this Fast 5:2 Diet. I'd have to work my fast days around my work schedule bc most work days I et up at 4am and my hunger is stronger those days but I'm usually off twice a week, so I'd do it then. :)

    Have you looked into Eat Stop Eat?

I've been doing intermittent fasting for around 4 months now :)

I personally find the zero calorie 24h fast easier. Eating a little makes me more hungry I find.

Keep at it though it does work and I find it so much easier to remain consistent than with a conventional diet.

    Well done!! I also weighed in this morning and had lost 4lbs. It's not easy, but easier if you see a nice result.
