Surgery, April 3

emoticon I am happy that its going to be done, but totally terrified of its cost on my body. I have worked so hard since August, getting stronger and more fit. I'm not where I should be, but I am definitely on the way. This surgery is going to disrupt my life. And I'm a bit upset by that.

No weight bearing for 6-8 weeks! Ha! Exactly how am I going to be still?????

This is really going to be a challenge.

I'll have to write more, I am falling asleep as I type. Sorry.

    The internet is your friend! you can find any workout online, it's amazing, I'm sure you'll be able to find something that you can do. But more importantly stay safe and well and the best of luck for the surgery x

I'll bet you've faced many other challenges in your life and overcame them. This will be no different, it will just require some planning and determination. The end result is a pain free, healthy you! emoticon

    Say focused. Maybe find some seated weight training activities that focus on you upper body. Also, simply doing some straight leg raises using the weight of your leg while laying on the floor is a non weight bearing activity. This will help strengthen your back, core, and hip muscles. Just some suggestions that might help. Good luck with the surgery. emoticon
