I Don't Have To Feel Deprived

I've had this craving lately for Spaghetti O's With Meatballs. I don't know where that came from. I haven't had those in a very long time. I spied Spaghetti O's when I was at Wal-Mart today, so I checked out the nutrition label. It says the serving size is 1 cup, servings per can is about 2. and a serving is 240 calories. I'll have to measure it to see exactly what 'about 2' means. Anyhow, I figure I can have the whole can for under 500 calories. Guess what I'm having for lunch tomorrow. Maybe I'll put zucchini in it to add a veggie. I'm finding that I can still have things that I want sometimes, within reason. That way I don't feel deprived, and in the long run I'll be more successful.

P.S. About 2 servings means 1-2/3 cups in the can, so the whole can is 398 calories. And, if you add 2 tsp. of reduced fat parmesan that adds 40 calories.

    Totally agree! Don't deny yourself completely and take smaller portion to avoid any future rebel or food craze from yourself :D Food should be something to savour and enjoy not something we eat mindlessly and in hurry!
