You can do it everywhere

Often times I read the tips about fitting exercise into your day. We all have days that are jam-packed from start to finish, me definitely being one of those people. Not wanting to miss a workout - and wanting to prove to myself that there are more places to fit exercise in other than my car - I decided to fit it in while in the shower today! Yes, you read that correctly, the shower.

While washing my hair I did 45 calf raises (I have really thick hair!). While wiping down the shower doors and tiles I did squats and lunges.

It didn't take any time out of my day away from anything that I needed to be doing anyway. It wasn't distracting me from work or anything. It was just a great, albeit, strange, place to fit in some exercise.

    Great idea!! I don't think that would work for me as I have a tall skinny shower and I probably would have injured myself if I tried that, but if you can do it.... go for it!!! emoticon
