It's been 4 months since I posted a blog. Most of November and December I was just super busy with my family because of the holidays. But January and February were just bad. I've been going through a major depressive episode for quite a while. I've been so out of everything. I was supposed to graduate in May, but I've had to drop some classes. So, alas, I'll be finishing in December (hopefully). Luckily (and this is a huge luckily here) I haven't gained any weight from this. I haven't lost any, but I haven't gained any either which is great.
I'm ready to feel better. I'm ready to feel like I can move. Whether that's moving off the couch or being able to go for a walk. I'm ready to be interested in things again. And I'm really, really ready to like cooking again. The husband and I have been eating out soooooo much just because I haven't been cooking. And before you go man, why can't your husband cook dinner? Well, he can't. That was not part of the lessons my husband got growing up. He can cook ramen noodles. Sometimes. If he pays attention long enough. I wouldn't really trust him to cook for me. So, lots of eating out. (Again, luckily, I didn't gain weight).
I'm hoping now that I'm finally getting better these things can happen. It's still been chilly and windy out so I haven't been doing much exercise outside. Ok, I haven't been doing much exercise at all (the whole not moving thing was working against me). I'm going to try and start walking with the dogs, even if I have to wear ear muffs in March in Oklahoma. I have ear problems so chilly and windy means my ears HURT if I don't wear something over my ears. Anywho, so I want to start walking. The husband and I are also pretty sure we are buying a treadmill. I think that would be awesome. I'm ready to get moving.
