Sick with Bronchitis....BOOO!

Thursday, March 21, 2013

Lots of people at work have been hacking and coughing, but no one goes tot he doctor?! I started feeling under the weather on Tuesday - tightness in my chest , congestion, fatigue. Being a good girl I went to the doctor on Wednesday. Bronchitis! I stayed home today to let the antibiotics kick in. But it sucks that this is day 3 of no exercise....I can't breathe while sitting, so it probably won't be a good idea to try huffing and puffing. It sucks because I was into day 10 of an awesome routine - getting up at 5:45am, working out, showering and powering through my day. I hate to think how it's going to feel getting back into it. But I WANT to be working out now!!!!
Rest, take care of my body, get prepped for health.

Oh, and if you don't know which coworker it was that shared their lovely germs with you - give them ALL dirty looks. LOL. I am cracking myself up.

I wish more people were like you - going to the doctor when you are sick and staying home instead of taking it to work and spreading it - good for you! I had bronchitis not too long ago and it does take some of the steam out you for a while. I was motivated to workout after the antibiotics were done but it took a month before I could walk or elliptical at a fast pace without coughing or losing my breath. Hang in there, you will get it all back once you are well. Just rest and heal. Oh, and give the coworker who brought that to the office a dirty look when you get back. That will show em!
