Yesterday was the first day for my therapy, I will be going for 2 days a week for a month. It was hard made my back really hurt for a while after. The doctor tells me with the exercises that I am learning in therapy will help me control the pain with out medication and I am excited about that.

So every morning when I wake up I go through the home exercises I have been given they are not hard they are meant to strengthen my core and improve stamina and endurance. I am looking forward to being able to do more. To date the only exercise I can do is in the seated position while that helps I want to be able to stand, walk and maybe one day run a bit. I know its a lot to ask for but I will take 2 out of 3 and be quiet happy.

    Hey, KEEP those lofty goals and make some small short term goals to help you eventually reach the lofty ones. Who knows what you may one day be able to do? I know that I am doing things I had written off as no longer possible, but now, I am finding that I can do more and move more than I thought would be possible ever again. Exercises whether strengthening your core or whatever all count and all will make a difference for you.
