Today after work instead of hitting the gym I drove to the park to give it a try of jogging in the great outdoors. Do I have work ahead of me but I can only get better at my pace time
There is a big difference in jogging on the treadmill and outdoors Treadmill so much easier the machine keeps me at a good pace I usually have ti set to do interval training so I go from 4.5 speed to a 5.1 speed with various inclines. Today at the park very windy uneven ground sun bright & hot.
My first attempt was 36 minutes to do 2.12 miles the Running Calculator
Drum roll please well maybe not pace was set at 16 minutes and 59 seconds and yes most people would just round it up to say disappointingly it was a 17 minute jog/walk , BUT not me It was better then a 17 minute mile
I am not disappointed in myself I did good- thought I'd die today but I kept chugging along to finish my workout. I will improve that number I can only get better at it
I can do it!
