Feeling Successes !!

For the past 15 years my weight has fluctuated between 170-185lbs, now up in the 200's I feel that I wont feel successfull in my weight loss until I get into the 160's...thats 47lbs away !!!! I am trying to help myself appreciate ALL weight losses and feel successfull TODAY !!! :)

    Such a positive attitude, losing weight is a challenge for sure. Stay focused on your goals, one day at a time and one meal at a time means you will achieve the pounds lost you desire.
Start each day fresh and with a new look on life and a dream in your heart and a goal in your mind.

I want to share this blog I did long ago when I was just getting over a long stressful part of my life. Maybe this will help you see things in a fresh new way.

I wake up in the morning to a day that is new, a never-been-lived-before kind of day.
Am I a little to joyful? Sometimes I meet people that think I am a little to joyful, that I am ducking reality and ignoring the painful facts of life. But I simply tell them I'm not ignoring the facts, I'm just looking at them and trying to find joy not misery.
We all know there are 365 day in a year, but I believe there are only three days we should be concerned about dealing with correctly. Two of those days we can do nothing about---yesterday and tomorrow. Yesterday is a cancelled check and tomorrow is a promissory note. But today is cash ready for us to spend in living, and that's why I say wake up and rejoice and take advantage of the FRESH START. There are no mistakes, nothing has happened and nobody has goofed it up ---we've got today! We've got another chance !
So for all of you who think that the day has been wasted or messed up you have a FRESH START each and every day you wake up as we cannot let our burdens paralyze our progress.

Life is about 10 percent how you make it and 90 percent how you take it.
You can be as happy as you decide to be, it depends on how you look at things.
I hope you will think about this and wake up every day to a day that is new, a never-been-lived-before kind of day.

    I get that idea of really loosing weight versus taking off that which wasn't here before. I'm cheering you on and special thanks for conversion to pounds verbally so I don't have to stop and think about it. emoticon emoticon

Don't look at the BIG number. Sometimes that overwhelmes people. I think it is important to set goals. I'm setting mine for 5 pounds at a time. To me that is more doable than the 60 pounds total. Just keep your eye on the prize and just loose it ONE at a time!! Before you know it you will reach your 130.

130 is where I'd like to be. I don't know if I'll ever make it, but I keep trying!!
