Food Intake - Love it

Thursday, March 21, 2013

I enjoy determining what I am going to eat all day, logging it and sticking to it. It makes things so much easier when I know if I have a little bit more wiggle room or not. I can add my three oreo cookies for a snack and not die and over eat.

And my food scale is fun to use. Now I am buying grocery items in bulk and portioning it out.

I've been thinking about getting a scale, I always resisted tracking but now I love it so I'm thinking I'll end up loving a scale too. So do you plan your food and put it all in the tracker in the morning? DUH I never though of that LOVE it!! Thanks!

Buying in bulk is the best. As soon as a get home with snack-y stuff it get portioned out into sandwich bags so that I don't have to worry about it when I what something quick.

I too plan for my oreos - the ones with the birthday cake filling - only two.(they are SO good) It is great to have those to look forward to at the end of a day and know that it is still within my calorie budget. I haven't bought a food scale yet, but that really appeals to my inner miser to buy in bulk - LOL. May have to do that soon.
Thanks for sharing your ideas and positivity.
    Have a great weekend!

Love this! This is why I like making a meal I like and having left overs. I already know what dinner is going to be and that I am going to be happy with it and how many calories I will consume. I completely agree- the food scale is addicting! I too need to start buying in bulk and save some money.

Keep up the positive steps! Knowing what you are putting in your body takes the mystery away! Isn't it lovely having those oreos and KNOWING it isn't going to kill your calorie range?
