I am so in love with everything blooming in AZ right now. Phoenix looks gorgeous! I know that in 3 months I will be missing this weather and the flowers but it is so beautiful right now. Everything is green and blooming and it just makes me smile from my heart!

Training went well today, after training I walked for about 34 minutes. I did a lot today due to tomorrow's craziness that will be sure to knock me out. My trainer suggested I make tomorrow my rest day since I trained hard two days in a row. I will go with what he says.
I found out some very unsettling news today. First off, does anyone has issues with their thyroid? As in being too low or high? I just found out that I am at risk for being put on medication unless I get my thyroid in check. I am being told to do all of this:
Eat adequate protein at every meal.
Eat foods rich in selenium and iodine.
Avoid food containing soy, or eat soy only in moderation. Remember to check food labels carefully, as soy derivatives are found in a number of foods we eat every day.
When eating cruciferous vegetables such as cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, kale, turnips, or Brussels sprouts, always steam or cook them (see our article on goitrogens for more information).
Eliminate all "white" food — refined sugar, flour, rice, and grains.
Honestly it all makes since, I can not regulate my body temperature when I am cold. My anxiety issues are at an all time high. I am 25 years old with arthritis. Weight is hard to get off and the list can go on. So I am going to try the food changes, which also means no going out to eat unless I order a salad with very little junk. This is going to be a hard journey. Especially since I will be back in the Midwest for 3 days relying on their foods. I will be packing luna bars!
Honestly I am happy to have found this out. All the women in my family have a low thyroid so it didn't surprise me one bit. I just want to be the one female in the family NOT on medication for it. This will be a tough journey but I know that I can do it. I have to do it.

Did I make healthy food choices? Not really... :(
Was I physically active? 60 minutes of yesterday with 200 crunches and 55 push ups, 60 minutes personal training today that ended with 15 minutes of kickboxing. Then 34 minutes on the treadmill!! I kicked butt!
Did I feel/act motivated? Yes! My trainers were pretty proud of me today!
Did I stick to the program? Overall yes!
My toddler just woke up and I really need to pack for me trip... hello snow!
