Okay, so I made an impulse purchase at the grocery store yesterday. And as impulse purchases go, this was better than it could have been. I bought a $1 bottle (they were on sale since they were new) of MetroMint's ChocolateMint Water.
There I was thinking..."hey, I like chocolate. i like mint chocolate. i drink a lot of water. i'll give it a try."
So, we fast forward to today, here I sit sipping said water. I'm not going to tell you that it's the greatest water ever (that I reserve for some Lavendar Apple sparkling water spritzer of a brand I can no longer remember or find and really wish I could because it was a great calming bedtime drink!). But it does have a minty, chocolate scent and if I hadn't just had lunch, I would probably taste it more than I do.
The problem I have with this delightful bottle of minty chocolate water is that now I REALLY want a piece of actual MINT CHOCOLATE!
Now that I have the taste of it, I want the actuality of it. If I had just been craving it, I could have eaten some snack and dismissed it, but here I sit with the actual taste in hand (or in bottle) and my brain is so confused!
I'm going to go cause more mental drama by eating some celery or carrots or something!
Let this be a cautionary warning...some things may sound like a good idea, but beware!
I think I'll try their Spearmint Water next. Yeah, that sounds safe enough.
