I did not sleep well last night at all...

I woke up at 2, thinking it was 5, in dire need of cough medicine for my throat...

Which of course didn't help...I woke up at 7, thanks to a text, because I had shut off my alarms, with just enough time to get ready for work...

My throat is killing me today...killing killing killing me today...

I am also currently out of cough drops...I went through a whole bag already...

This will be a long day...

Going to try to go to body combat tonight simply because it is r.s.v.p. and so if I don't go, I'd feel bad for not being there when someone else was there...

Supper, the bed...that will be my night...I don't know if I can handle that much even...

Throat coat tea has been a life saver for me with a sore throat. My job involves singing often and it has saved me and made it barable for me to talk and gotten me through bronchitis. Hope you feel better soon.

A neti pot is a good way to clear your sinus out, which then stops the post nasal drip, which make your throat feel better. Hot tea, bullion, hot water with lemon and honey all seem to help. Good luck. Feel better soon. Oh yes sugar free gum sometimes will help with the tickles.

I would recommend sugar free drops to protect your teeth.

Seems like lots of people are sick lately, myself included. Thankfully I don't have a bad cough, but lots of congestion, stuffy ears, and a sore throat. I've been drinking lots of water and taking Advil Cold and Sinus (behind the counter version) and it's been helping a ton. NyQuil at night for late night coughs and sniffles too.

Stay hydrated and maybe try some warm water or tea with lemon. That usually helps to soothe my throat when it's really raw.
