"Somewhat Committed"

Thursday, March 21, 2013

The SparkPeople blog about commitment level couldn't have come at a better time. The blog details various levels of commitment to a healthy lifestyle. You can check out the blog here:

I realized that I'm in the "somewhat committed" category, and I want to change that. I tend to get really hyped for a week or two, then something happens (like the car breaks down or I get strep throat) and suddenly that commitment I had flies right out the window.

The question remains. How does one move from being "somewhat committed" to "very committed" or "passionately committed"?

Streaks are the best way I think. Get a streak going and feel the sense of achievement!

Hmm, good question. Support from those around you helps. My partner and I push each other.

Hire a personal trainer if you can? They kind of force the commitment!
