Crazy morning.

Thursday, March 21, 2013

I had a hard time breaking up a dog fight between my two adopted street dogs. It was the worst one yet. They go at each other occasionally when they are jealous of me paying attention to one and not enough to the other. This morning though, they drew blood!!! I really don't like that. I had to call my DH to help me break them apart. I guess I need to go back to watching the dog whisperer. Anyway had to give the white dog a bath to get the blood off her since it shows up so much on white fur. Only one little puncture mark on the little dogs head but it bled a lot. Sibling rivalry!

One a positive note, I got some more cushion pounds as I was down to 107.5 today so happy about that. Even though those pounds are for Friday night dinner out I have plenty so my DH wants to go out with his Dad today so I will join them.

Hope all my sparks buddies are doing just great today.
Have a wonderful day.
Sallie

I can't stand to see pups go at each other. I really don't know what I would do. I never had a problem with my two. They just had major attitude!

Oh no! Dogs fighting is scary. The best way to break them up is a garden hose, we found with our dogs. They got jealous too..
Well done having some cushion pounds for tomorrow's dinner.

Oh, Sallie...what a frightening experience! My heart goes out to you... I know of only one other woman who's had to deal with that situation, and it's such a scary, heart-rending one... emoticon Sibling rivalry in canine form is far, FAR scarier than it is with human kids! (I say "human kids" because many who have dogs think of them - or their cats - as their "fur kids" - I know I did! emoticon )

On a happier note emoticon , how about that terrific "weight cushion" you've built up for yourself? CONGRATULATIONS!! I can remember what it was like to go out to eat when I was about 70 lbs. heavier, and I was always so self-conscious, which was a shame...but minus the weight, I'm free to just enjoy my meal (and I do!). Glad the "reserve" has allowed you lunch with your husband and his dad :) Yeah!! emoticon
