I had my foot surgery yesterday. All went well. I got a knee walker instead of crutches. Two weeks off work then 4-6 weeks on the knee walker.

Pain is not too bad. Staying down a lot...

You were really a hero to get through the wedding! I was worried about limping down the aisle with DD! because my knees were worn out and I was "too young " to replace them then. I presided at my son's wedding and the pain of standing still for the processionals and service was a challenge. DD2's wedding I had one knee replaced and the other shot up and I danced all night. You must have borne some pain with your foot! Glad the surgery went well. Don't know what type rehab you will have but my lesson was do it all and then some.

Glad that surgery went well! Take care of yourself and don't try to do too much too early. That foot has to serve you for a long time!
