So yesterday was a pretty busy day for me. It was going pretty well for me and I was on schedule to leave work early at 4:30 and make it to the zumba class I wanted to go to. That was until my co-worker left work early (after coming in late) and one of us has to be there till 5. I was very angry and took my rage out on 420 calories worth of swiss cheese. I did regain my composure and went home at 5. My alternative workout was to go skate. But I wasn't really feeling it. I had a tough indoor skate practice for two hours the night before AND I have a 72 mile skate on saturday. I just wasn't feeling it. I decided to go out on a whim and do an insanity video instead called sports intervals. I love insanity, my life is just a little too hectic to do is consistently. Anyways I had a really good workout and my boyfriend walked into me doing the workout. I usually do not like people walking in on me during a workout, but this turned out to be a good thing!
My boyfriend made a comment about how this is the kind of workout we need to be doing. He was very serious about it and even came up with an insanity and running schedule for us to start on monday. I was really happy about this. I got to make sure I push him a little to stick with it. He really does want to lose his weight, but sometimes he backs out. This will be great for me too of course.
I kind of get in a panic when my day doesn't go as scheduled and I think I need to be more accepting that this happens some times! It turned out to be a good thing this time. And even after my frantic cheese eating, my calorie total was 1700, which really isn't terrible.
On a different note, I have 7 days of work left before I get laid off. Ironically it will also be my one year anniversary at the job. I'm actually okay with this. Work has been so terrible lately that I am ready to take a little time off and look for a new promising job. I have a little cash saved up too which will help.
Speaking of work, I need to get back to it! Happy almost Friday Spark Friends!
