It's a no excuses day today. I didn't bring a change of clothes for a lunchtime walk because I usually don't walk on Thursdays. I have a meeting during our weight watchers meeting today and figured I would just work through lunch. My friend has a different idea though. She isn't going to the weight watchers meeting either, (she weighed in this morning, and for me being at goal weight it I don't have to weigh in weekly). So I will walk today, in a windchill of 16 or so, in a skirt. It's a longer skirt, so just my lower legs will get cold. It will be so worth it though to get out there in the fresh air and sunshine!
I am the only one who can do this for myself.
I make the choice of what I put in my mouth and what I don't.
I make the choice to exercise or not daily
I make the choice to have a positive frame of mind
I make the choice to be healthy!
Goals for today:
~ read my mantra
~ 80 oz water
~ 10,000 steps
~ 30 minutes on treadmill before work (done)
~ 15 flights of stairs
~ lunchtime walk
~ keep an open mind
~ journal every bite (so far so good.....everything...)
~ weigh and measure food today (2 of 3 meals weighed and measured so far)
~ journal thoughts and feelings surrounding eating today
~ smile at least once an hour
~ learn something new and remember what I learned
~ eat a fruit or vegetable with every meal and as one snack today
~ focus on this lifestyle I have chosen for myself and don't sweat the small stuff
