Working It Out

So, I was finally in a groove with working out on my lunch breaks and jogging as much as possible when....BAM!! I injure my foot slightly and now I am taking a few days off from jogging to let my foot heal up. At first, I was really mad and then I was upset that I couldn't jog. Wait...upset? That I couldn't jog? I asked myself who am I becoming now! That is real progress for me. I really wanted to let this slight injury become an excuse for not working out period, but let's face it, there is so much more I can do to get some calorie burn. I am happy to say I have continued my lunch time work outs and am treating myself to healthy snacks and not thinking about how I am not jogging. This weekend I can get back on the jogging train and be better for having let my foot heal. I am going to smash my 5k coming up in April!! Sometimes you just have to work it out.
