Thursday, March 21, 2013--New Friends

Thursday, March 21, 2013

Good morning--today I met a new friend at the Y that I met on SparkPeople. Welcome Julia. It is so nice to have someone to talk to while working out on the machines. This helps motivate me and keep me on track.

After the weigh in yesterday for my work challenge, I am more determined to keep going. Also seeing what the stores are offering as clothing choices for larger women, makes me determined to lose the weight and get into the regular women's clothing size. What happened to style? The stores that actually carry more stylish clothing in the larger women's sizes are too expensive for me.

Everyone have a great day. Make sure to find some time to get some cardio in.

Patty - I think that's great to have a workout partner. Really ups the accountability to show up at the gym.

Have you tried Lane Bryant's for clothing? I find I don't buy clothes too often. But I'll shop there. I shop Macy's or Belk's when there is a sale (and I have the time).

Not wanting to shop for large clothes motivates me too! It is slow going for me. I hope it is faster for you, but no matter what emoticon emoticon
