an nasty March, but I'm back in action.

March has been a rotten month. There was a death in the family and yesterday I had to have my 15-year-old cat put to sleep.

Somehow all the stress hasn't showed on the scale, so I am thankful for that.

I'm back on track. I usually run Mon Wed Fri, but Monday I had a terrible headache and this week has turned into a Tue Thurs Sat schedule. So, today I must run.

I've signed up for a 5k on April 20th. I still have to walk a little at this point during those 3.1 miles, but I am pushing and pushing. I'm hoping the street running won't slow me down, since I'm so used to the treadmill. I have a few friends walking it, and may have a running buddy who will keep me going.

Off to be active now!

    I am so sorry for your losses. We lost my FIL a month ago & had to put my almost 12 yr old cat to sleep in feb . . . so I can definitely empathize.

It does get better, but I still miss him so much (even tho his brother is snoozing on my lap as I type).

    Good for you. After the treadmill, my feet hurt somewhat when I go on the road. But you Can do it!

    emoticon Sorry you had a rough month. It sounds like you're doing great with your running. They key is just to get out there, your body doesn't care if it's on Tuesday or Friday!
