Feeling a bit low this week. I don't seem to be making the progress I want, but I am making progress so it shouldn't be making me feel depressed. Didn't help that my scales only measured a 0.1 lb drop since last Saturday. Oh well - it will pass - it always does, and then progress picks up again.
I joined the official Tame your Sweet Tooth challenge this week. My first challenge is to blog about my struggles. In fact I find that once I cut back on sweet things I do lose the taste a bit and fruit generally fills the gap. I had molasses and blueberries with my porridge this morning because I don't find that very sweet at all but it does give it flavour. I don't have fruit yoghurts very often because they are so sweet. I prefer natural yoghurt with added fruit. My biggest issue is with adding sweetners to coffee or to my bedtime hot chocolate. I know I shouldn't do it and it is sweet enough without. I think my challenge needs to be to cut out the sweetners as far as possible.
