Today was a long, difficult day. My mother fell, bumped her head and was taken by ambulance to the Athol Hospital, and then to UMass Medical Center.
I spent a lot of time getting down to see her, talking with nurses & doctors, and listening to my Mom.
I knew that Mamma would be fine when she took one of my sister's hands, looked in her eyes and said;
"Are you coming to my house for Easter?"
It doesn't matter what the doctors say. Mamma will be okay!

Awwww sweetie, prayers for sure. She sounds just like my Mom . . . spunky! As my Mom say, "I'm just to ornery to be sick!" HEE HEE Well, major HUGS too. So happy you got to see her. That helps . . . a little.

It's hard to see our parents age and have things happen!

I hope she heals up quickly. I have learned from sad experience that with older people it is that unless it is something like a broken hip, it is less a problem of the fall than it is of using blood thinners. Those head bumps are dangerous.

It sounds like your mom is doing well and going to make a full recovery. Sending love and prayers.
