So it seems I haven't used this site since 2008. If I recall I managed to lose some weight last time, hit a plateau, and proceeded to abandon the whole thing. Not this time. This time I know I can lose the weight because I have done it before. Though it was through a weight loss program, it was only my diet and exercise that I changed back then. If I did it once I can do it again!
I had a physical recently and luckily everything was normal. Now all i need is for the problem with my knee to be diagnosed so that I can get back to walking/running everyday and more importantly, I can train for derby again.
I'm a month in and about 11 lbs down already. So far so good! I have been learning to eat in such a way that I should be able to keep the weight off when I'm done losing too! I eat whatever I want but I take the calories, fat, etc., into account so that don't over do it. Now if I could just get myself to exercise...
