We just finished up the biggest loser season. Congrats to Dannie for winning!! I watched it last season but this season became inspirational for me. It made me want it! It made me want to be more active and be more healthy! It made me want to feel good about myself. In a world where we want instant gratifications and results, it is just not going to happen with weight loss. For those who followed, the season started in Jan. and ran thru Mar. That was roughly 9 weeks. These people were at a place where nutritional food was provided and trainers working them out God knows how many hours in a day! They were there to eat sleep breathe weight loss. IT STILL TOOK THEM 9 WEEKS TO REACH THEIR GOALS! We saw them killing themselves the first couple of weeks not showing much results. I am in my second week and I am wanting to see my results now! I have to realize that wanting that instant gratification is setting me up for disappointment and downfall. I think the contestants were a good four weeks before you started to see them change. So that's why I say calm down and buckle down because I am in for the long haul this time!And I tell ya the
iphone spark app has made all the difference in the world at logging my food and exercise! Even though it has only been a week and a half I have seen some subtle results and I cherish. them! Cant wait for more but I am going to have to wait! Here's to a new future!
