Lamar CO is a pretty interesting little town. I may be back.

Back to Ulysses.

I watched the weather forecasts and I packed accordingly. For running in 30ºF weather. Wellllll, Monday in Dalhart TX was about 32. Tuesday in Guymon OK was about 29. This morning in Ulysses KS it was 19ºF.

That is really cold. There was ice in my beard as I ran. In OK is ran a 2:53 half. I decided to throttle back just a little today. Fully one half of the time I was walking. I still came in at 2:58.

Not too shabby.

I got to Lamar CO and I went to a sporting goods store on Main St and got warmer gloves and a balaclava, you know to keep my head warm.

Then I checked the forecast: 32ºF tomorrow. Is that just the way?
