Going to bed early so I am not tempted to eat late

So glad to see the results on the scale this morning that I am getting further away from that 200 pound mark. My total loss since October is 25 pounds!

It felt like it took me forever to reach that first goal of getting below 200 pounds, and I reached it almost 6 weeks after I had originally targeted myself to lose it by. I am trying to make my new goals as manageable and reasonable as possible. For example, I want to get to 195 (only 2 more pounds), then below 190, etc. For me, 2-5 pounds at a time as a goal without a strict target date may help me feel like I have accomplished more. Although the numbers seem small, I know they add up quickly.

So far, I am sticking with my plan this week of not eating late and snacking mindlessly in front of the tv out of boredom just because my daughter has gone to bed and my husband is not home. It is really hard, so as my new strategy, I now find myself in bed earlier than I ever have before. Hopefully, more sleep will mean more weight loss.
