So not happy!!

Wednesday, March 20, 2013

Actually I am happy that I have a consulting contract but it's going to take me out of town for two days and that means no time at the gym for me!!! I used to actually use that as an excuse but not this time. I really am not happy about it.

It's not like I can work out when I get there - it's two days of a 4 hour drive and then 7 hours at the business and back 4 hours. I'd stay overnight but I have to make the trip to a different place the next day and staying overnight is not a good option.

Oh well what I can do is EAT RIGHT! and maybe get a 30 minute walk in somewhere along the line.

See you all later.

Stay very hydrated... that means lots of walks to the restroom. :)
All kidding aside, I detect a different mindset with you. Love that your focus is on taking care of you first.

Oh, I HATE all that driving. Too bad you can't spend the night. Well, the good news is (a) you have the consulting gig and (b) it's only two days and (c) you can pack your healthy snacks for the car and eat well. It will be a great challenge and test, but you are up to it and will prevail!

When will you be gone? And YES, Freelady is right! If you can walk around the rest area for a few minutes it will be a good thing.

The walk is a great plan. It helps the ideas flow, too!

Also....we're pals so I'll risk a nag's healthy to stop the car at least after 2 hours and walk around for 10 minutes or so. It's very important for circulation, avoiding blood clots...and also helps with alertness. If you take a restroom break, how about a couple laps around the building? Pretty please?

You are determined and resourceful. I have confidence you will figure out a way to make the best of this bummer-factor assignment!
