Doctor update

Wednesday, March 20, 2013

I saw the doc today. So I am sitting in the office talking about general stuff (not the ex or the life with the ex) and I start crying................WTH??? And I wasnt in a bad or blue mood today?? So Friday we do blood work and I will be back on next Tuesday for a follow up appointment.

I left here on Monday evening and traveled back to where the ex lives. I let him know I was in town as I didnt think it was a good idea to run into him and him be unaware. He didnt believe I was there!!!! So the next morning when I got up and went to get coffee (the shop is by his workplace) lo and behold there he stood in the parking lot of his work!! I just honked and waved and kept going!! Of course he text me to find out where I was going as it is also on the way to his house (the coffee shop) and yes I was polite enough to put his mind at ease. I just want all of the hard feelings to go away and part of the reason I went there was to work thru my own emotions. I saw all of my old friends there went to lunch with a few and had a nice visit!!

When I was getting ready to leave I stopped at the hospital where I worked (for the second time that day) and found out that my ex mother in law had been there in the morning while I was there but was hiding from me!!! Hello she is in her 70's and still acts like a little kid!!

Anyway it was an overall pleasant experience and I do have plans to go back for a longer visit with the "girls"!!!!

I'm so glad you've been to the Dr's and have a follow up. Fingers crossed that the bloods point them in a direction to help.
Lovely that you've also had a catch up with some of you old friends. It sounds like you coped well and it will be easier for you to return again another time.

I get tearful at times myself.

I wasn't sure it was a good idea but it sounds like you handled it beautifully. The emotional stuff could be perimenopausal. I was that way in the beginning. Hope you have a wonderful weekend.

I am so glad you were able to have a good experience and that YOU were and are able to move on. Nobody claims this is going to be easy, BUT . . . it doesn't have to be HORRIBLE either.

Glad you made it to the doc. Crying in front of him out of the blue might have been a good thing, it may have said more then you could have told him.
Seeing the ex, even from a distance--how was that?
Why would someone at the hospital tell you about your mother-in-law? salt in the wound?
Glad you had a good time with the girls.
